At Roosevelt, we have a vibrant music program where students make amazing music together, build lasting friendships, entertain audiences and have fun!
Currently at Roosevelt, every 6th grader is exposed to music for 9 weeks during the school year. During this course they will receive an introduction to music, composition, and music production. All 6th graders also have an opportunity to be introduced to percussion if they choose.
6th, 7th and 8th grade students also have an option of taking a Music Elective, either band or orchestra, that meets multiple days a week on-line from 8:45 to 9:45 am throughout the entire school year.

Because of the current circumstances all festivals and field trips have been cancelled for this school term. However we are currently considering other safe events to enhance our program such as:
- A virtual studio tour
- Virtual assemblies
- Parent/community organized outdoor/socially distant performances
In order to make these happen, we need your input and help. Please come to our first Music Booster Meeting!
10/6: Tuesday, 6:00pm, Music Booster Meeting, via Zoom
Please come out to help us discuss possible upcoming activities and fundraisers. We need your support.
