At Roosevelt, we have a vibrant music program where students make amazing music together, build lasting friendships, entertain audiences and have fun!

Sixth graders can take “Introduction to Music” class as part of an after school program. Knowledge of music fundamentals fosters success when playing an instrument. Look for more information on this class at the beginning of the school year.

Seventh and eight graders can choose from one of the six music classes listed below as an elective that’s integrated into their regular daily schedule, ending at 2:30 pm. Students learn to read and perform music in a fun environment through exposure to music theory, history and appreciation.

This year, music students perform at a theme park festival, Coronado JazzFest, CMEA and other school-sponsored events. See a school counselor now to add a music class to next year’s schedule.

Choir | Guitar | Beginning Orchestra | Advances Orchestra | Beginning Band | Advanced Band
