RMS Calendar Reminders
- Minimum Days this Wednesday and Thursday (March 1 and 2) for on-campus Student Led Conferences. These school days will end at 1:44 pm.
- SLC are scheduled for 2 – 4 pm on both days.
- Weds March 1: Last Names A – L.
- Thurs March 2: Last Names M – Z.
- Here is the SLC email sent home last week.
- You may opt to conduct SLC with your student at home.
- SSC Meeting on Thursday March 2 at 4 pm: Zoom Link and Agenda.
- Progress Report Period 3 ends Friday March 3; grades will be available in PowerSchool March 10.
AfterSchool Pick-Up Zone Volunteers Needed Monday – Friday.
- Please SignUp for Student Safety. We still need afterschool pick-up zone supervisors to continue providing safe pick-up for our students!

- CHAPERONES NEEDED for the 8th Grade San Diego Zoo trip on March 8.
- Complete the online SDUSD Volunteer Application to chaperone for field trips.

RMS YEARBOOK 2022-2023
- Students and Families are welcome to submit photos to the Yearbook Staff.
- Submit photos by March 10.
- Order your 2022-2023 Yearbook online or in the school office.
- Photo and Order forms are pinned to the RooFriends.org sidebar.
Roosevelt Summer Academic Program
- Roosevelt is offering a summer academic program from 8am to 1pm from June 20 to July 21.
- Students enrolled in the summer will remain in their current grade level.
- You can sign up your child for our summer academic program by filling out this link or coming into the office and filling out a paper document.
Primetime Summer Program
- All Roosevelt students attending our Summer Academic Program will be eligible to apply to participate in PrimeTime!
- June 20 – July 21: 4.5 hours daily, 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm (after summer academic program)
- July 24 – August 2: 9.5 hours daily, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Summer Level Up Enrichment Programs
- Summer Level Up enrichment programs for all district students grades UTK-12 will be offered by our Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), Office of College, Career and Technical Education (CCTE), and community partners.
- Programs will run throughout June, July, and August 2023.
- Level Up enrichment opportunities will include sports camps, STEAM- and arts-based experiences, leadership institutes, internships, and accelerated learning opportunities.
- Enrollment and more information about these programs will be made available to families in late March.
- Please be sure we have your accurate cell phone numbers in PowerSchool so you don’t miss out on registration!

Core Academy Saturday School | Attendance Reporting
- The Core Academy dates for 2023 are: 3/11, 3/18, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, 5/20, 6/3. All students are invited to attend. Please sign-up.
