Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) is an annual celebration that commemorates the history and culture of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic Communities, recognizing their influence and contributions to American society. As Hispanic Heritage Month 2020 concludes, Roosevelt IB highlights the accomplishments and career of Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court (video), born to a Puerto Rican family and the first Latina member of the U.S. Supreme Court.
