Good Evening, Roosevelt Families!

It was great to see many of you at the Principal Town Hall on Friday;here are the slides I shared.  One topic we covered was the important discussion 7th grade students had at the “Breaking Down Barriers” assembly last week.  I reached out to the presenters for their slides (or other information), and I will share if I receive permission to do so.

Sports Update

Congratulations to our Boys Flag Football team on a terrific season.  They lost in the semifinals on Saturday, a game that I am sure they will all remember as the scoreboard was incorrect for a majority of the game and changed at the very end, leaving us all confused to say the least.  Coach Parker and our boys kept their heads high and have a lot to be proud of this year, as do all of our student athletes.

Congratulations also to our Wrestling team on their strong season as well!  They fought hard all season, including their individual competitions on Saturday.
