Volunteers Needed for Bungalow Renovation Project:
Join us this week on Thursday March 30 and Friday March 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (for one or more 2-hour shifts) to work side-by-side with Ms. Jones (sjones1@sandi.net) and Home Depot volunteers on improvements in the Bungalow Area. To sign-up, please submit the Bungalow Renovation Volunteers form.
RooFriends Parking Fundraisers for Spring 2023:
Please volunteer for the RooFriends Parking Fundraisers April 8 & 15, 11AM – 2PM. RooFriends goal is to raise $13,000 by June 2023! Funds go towards education enrichment programs for Students and Staff:
- AfterSchool Enrichment (ASE) Clubs offered FREE to all Students.
- RMS Music: Jazz Band, Orchestra, Digital Music, 6th Grade Music.
- IB Training for Teachers … and more!!
Make a Donation to RMS Teachers’ Donors Choose Projects:
Please consider making a donation to Ms. Vinnard’s Donors Choose project to enhance RMS student learning. Ms. Vinnard is asking for science materials to learn about light waves.
8th Grade Promotion:
Volunteer for a variety of 8th Grade committees and events to end middle school on a high note. Please help us make it a fabulous finish for our 8th Graders!
Reading and Math Tutoring for English Learners:
Ms. McVicar requests volunteers to work one-on-one with English learners in her ELD classes. Volunteer tutors would provide extra support with reading and basic math for these students. Available days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during periods 5 and 6 (1:15-3:15 PM). Training will be provided for anyone interested in helping, whether regularly or sporadically.

Afterschool Pick-Up Zone Volunteers:
We still need afterschool pick-up zone supervisors to continue providing safe pick-up for our students Monday through Friday! Please sign up to assist with a shift.
