The Friends of Roosevelt Foundation (aka RooFriends) is launching our Sixth Annual Trick or Trot 5K/1 Mile Fun Run at Morley Field in Balboa Park on Sunday, October 27th, 2019. Each year, this event attracts hundreds of runners of all ages from our community, many running in costumes for a good cause.

All proceeds from the event this year will go to support the After School Enrichment Programs offered to over 1,000 students at Roosevelt IB Middle School. These programs give students an opportunity to learn new skills not taught during the school day, and include Garden, Photography, Journalism, Art, Cooking Club, and Girls in Science (and many more).

We need your help to make this event a success!

We are reaching out to local businesses like yours, in search of event sponsors as well as prize donations (gift certificates, products, etc.). Your generous, tax deductible donation to support public education will also promote your business to race participants, students and their families in several ways:

  • Mention of all sponsorships/donations on our website (friendsofroosevelt.org/ToT), Facebook pages, Twitter feed & Instagram (TrickorTrotSD).
  • A listing on our Donated Items/Sponsors material prominently displayed at the event.
