4th Annual
Make-A-Match Fundraiser
Tuesday, December 3, 2019

The RooFriends fundraiser is just around the corner. On GivingTuesday, Roosevelt’s foundation will host its very own day of giving to support Roosevelt’s International Baccalaureate program with a unique one-day, online campaign. Last year we were so successful raising over $18,000 from 128 individual donors! Let’s see if we can top that this year!

This campaign’s success is due to caring community members who understand the value of strong, vibrant, public, neighborhood schools. Spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors that are looking for ways to give back through charitable, tax-deductible donations. Support our students by raising funds that will be used to create even more enriching educational opportunities. Money raised through this event is vital to the funding of the following programs:

  • IB program annual accreditation fee
  • IB training workshops for new Roosevelt staff
  • Peace One Day Celebration and t-shirts
  • Teacher Mini Grants to support teacher initiatives
  • Band and Orchestra equipment, instruments, field trips
  • Zoo Expeditionary Learning Program
  • After School Enrichment clubs
  • 6th Grade Camp Scholarships

This year we will be creating a matching pool comprised of both generous business sponsors as well as anonymous individual donors. If you would like to join this pool either as an individual or to promote your business in all of our communications over the next couple of weeks, don’t hesitate to email me, Beth Deig, at Remember, your donation is tax-deductible.

Be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks as to how you can participate in this fundraiser.
