Make-A-Match Fundraiser

On #GivingTuesday, Roosevelt’s foundation hosted its very own day of giving to support Roosevelt’s International Baccalaureate program with a unique one-day, online campaign. It was a huge success raising over $9,000 from 103 donors. On top of that, a generous group of businesses and anonymous individuals created a matching pool. Through their generosity we added another $8,200 to that total. This brought us to a grand total of over $17,200. Pretty amazing for one day!
This campaign’s success is due to caring community members who understand the value of strong, vibrant, public, neighborhood schools. Spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors that are looking for ways to give back through charitable, tax-deductible donations. Support our students by raising funds that will be used to create even more enriching educational opportunities. Money raised through this event is vital to the funding of the following programs:
- IB program annual accreditation fee
- IB training workshops for new Roosevelt staff
- Peace One Day Celebration and t-shirts
- Teacher Mini Grants to support teacher initiatives
- Band and Orchestra equipment, instruments, field trips
- Zoo Expeditionary Learning Program
- After School Enrichment clubs
- 6th Grade Camp Scholarships
