Hello, RMS Community! Teaching Staff at Roosevelt MS are asking that you help us promote a teachers union event happening here at Roosevelt this week.
On Wednesday 3/15/23, teachers will be picketing in front of school along Park Blvd to encourage SDUSD to bargain fairly with our union and avoid the possibility of a strike.
Teachers are asking for a raise to meet the high cost of inflation, and it was promised that we would be better paid when the superintendent took over at the beginning of the year.
Roosevelt teachers would love any support parents and families could provide during this event, including holding picket signs side-by-side with teachers before and after school on Wednesday, as well as wearing red to show their solidarity with Roosevelt educators.
