March 8, Wed: 8th grade ZOO FIELD TRIP at 9:30 AM.
- Late Start Wednesday: Arrive at RMS by 9:30 AM, go to 1st Period, then be released to stage at the lunch tables. Chaperones meet at lunch tables.
- Bagged lunches will be available for pick-up at the cafeteria (optional).
- Students, teachers and chaperones will walk to / from San Diego Zoo. Groups return to RMS by 3:14 PM dismissal. 7th period classes and ASE will still happen!

8th Grade Families, please sign-up for the RooFriends Cherry Blossom Festival Parking Fundraiser to earn funds for 8th Grade Promotion Events! Write-in “8th Grade Promotion” when you sign-up to help with the funds for promotion. Three hours gives back so much! A few more shifts desperately needed!

March 22: San Diego High School “Caver For A Day” Tour!
San Diego High School will be hosting our entire 8th grade for “Caver For A Day” on Wednesday, March 22nd! All 8th grade students are welcome to attend. Any students who choose to stay behind OR do not return a permission slip, DUE MONDAY MARCH 13, will be with a teacher or two who stay behind. See PDF info attached about anticipated schedule here.

- Submit ONLINE SDUSD Volunteer Chaperone Application Form.
- Contact School Administrative Assistant Sandy Hernandez (shernandez4@sandi.net) and Nurse Keesee (ckeesee@sandi.net) for assistance with the chaperone application process. Nurse Keesee is on campus on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
