MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS UPDATE: This Saturday 2/25, SOCCER GAMES POSTPONED.
Dear SDUSD Families,
The health and well-being of students is our first priority and is of utmost importance. The Athletics, PE and Health Department regularly monitors weather conditions for San Diego County and within each of our cluster school areas.
Due to the expected rain and as a precautionary measure, we have decided to postpone the outdoor Middle School Athletics soccer games scheduled for Saturday, February 25th.
Please refer to communication from your coach and to your team’s practice schedule for next week’s events.
The decision to postpone Middle School Athletics soccer games scheduled for Saturday, February 25th does NOT impact middle school volleyball or high school athletic programs.
As to rescheduling this week’s postponed soccer matches, we will continue to monitor weather conditions and will notify coaches and families as soon as a decision has been made.

Register for Spring Flag Football by MARCH 6!!
Middle School Athletics opportunities continue in spring 2023 with flag football available for SDUSD students in grades 6-8. Practices will be after school, and games will be on Saturdays at SDUSD middle and high schools. The season starts the week of March 20. This opportunity is for SDUSD students only and is FREE of charge.
Please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM to participate in either boys or girls flag football during the spring season. Completion of the REGISTRATION FORM allows your student to try out for their school’s team. Information on tryouts and schedules will be provided when it is available. SDUSD Student ID and SDUSD Waivers are required.
