Thank you to the families who volunteered for the 6th Grade “Plays by Young Writers” field trip and the ASB Winter Chill Out last Friday!!

PrimeTime Spots Are Available in the Morning and Afternoon: Please email Roosevelt@arc-experience.com if you are interested in signing-up.

Cell Phone Policy Reminder

On campus, Staff are seeing more students’ cell phones out, resulting in an increase in phones being sent to the school office. Please remind your children that phone use is not allowed once they enter campus. They may ask school office staff if they need support contacting parents, guardians, etc.

Semester 2 AfterSchool Enrichment (ASE) Clubs Begin Monday January 30

If you applied for ASE, please check for confirmation email from the ASE Team. Thank you to the parent volunteers who organize this RooFriends-sponsored program, offered FREE to all RMS students!

RMS Music at SDUSD VAPA MS Honor Ensembles Concert February 4, 2:00 PM

The RMS Community is invited to the MS Honor Band and Orchestra concert this Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Brown Chapel at Point Loma Nazarene University. After 4 weeks of rehearsals, six of our own RMS Music students will perform! FREE: general admission, no tickets.

RMS Winter Sports Update

Congratulations to both our Soccer Teams who notched two more victories each on Saturday at SDHS! Our Volleyball teams are putting in the effort as well. The “placement rounds” are complete. Let’s keep supporting our RMS Teams every Saturday; game results and schedules are posted on the SDUSD MS Athletics website.

The SDHS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is now accepting nominations for the 2023-2024 Executive Board. There are a variety of positions open for current and incoming families and students! This is a great way for new families to get involved at SDHS.
