ALL Middle School Musicians are WELCOME to AUDITION for SDUSD VAPA MS HONOR BAND and ORCHESTRA!!

Students DO NOT HAVE TO BE ENROLLED in RMS Music/ Band/ Orchestra to audition.

• Auditions: December 1, 2022, Thursday, 5:00 – 9:00 PM at CPMA Middle School 2020 Conrad Ave. San Diego, CA 92117 .
• DEADLINE to register for Auditions: Nov 28, 5:00 PM. If you miss the opportunity to reserve a time, you may “walk-in” the night of auditions, but you will not be guaranteed a time. 
• AUDITION materials and registration are now available!! Band & Orchestra Students: Sheet Music is available in your Music Google Classrooms.

Rehearsals & Performance Dates

Band, Orchestra and Orchestra Winds rehearsals will all be located at CPMA Middle School. Students should plan to be present at ALL rehearsals. One excused absence is allowed due to illness or unavoidable emergencies. Rehearsals (6) & Performance: January – February 2023.

• January 12 (TH): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm.
• January 19 (TH): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm.
• January 26 (TH): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm.
• January 27 (FRI): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm. 
• February 2 (TH): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm.  
• February 3 (FRI): Band 5:30-8:30pm | Orchestra & Orchestra Winds 5:30-9pm.  

Dress Rehearsal & Concert: February 4, 2023 (Saturday) at Point Loma Nazarene University (Brown Chapel) 3900 Lomaland Drive, San Diego, CA 92106. 

• Band Dress Rehearsal: 8:30am – 10:00am. 
• Orchestra & Orchestra Winds Dress Rehearsal: 10:30am – 12:00pm.
• Concert: 2:00pm.
