RMS Music’s First Field Trip for 2022-2023!!

RMS 6th Grade Music Students (Semester 1) are invited to the World Beat Cultural Center in Balboa Park: Nov 9 (Weds) 9:30 – 11:45 AM.

6th Grade Music Students (Semester 1): Field Trip permission forms will be distributed by Mr. E.K. Return forms by THIS Friday, Nov 4.

Parents/ Guardians: This week, please check backpacks for permission forms or ask your kids for their forms.

RMS Music Families – ALL GRADES – are Welcome to Chaperone.

Please submit SDUSD Volunteer forms to the RMS Office by THIS Friday, Nov 4. Thanks for volunteering!!

• Chaperones will walk with field trip students to/from the World Beat Cultural Center (2100 Park Blvd) in Balboa Park.

• Estimated 25-30 minutes walk (one way): RMS – San Diego Zoo – World Beat Cultural Center.

• 7th and 8th Grade volunteers’ students may be considered for field trip participation.

• Print and fill out the SDUSD Volunteer Application Form.

• Forms are also available in the RMS Office. 

• Fill out the TB Survey (included in the application form); RMS School Nurse will review and sign. 

Other required documents:

• Official/government form of ID.

• Proof of COVID 19 vaccination.

SAVE THE DATE for the NEXT RMS Music Field Trip:

• Dec 7, 10 AM – 12 PM to the San Diego Symphony Open Rehearsal for the “Noel Noel” concert.

• ALL Music Students: 6th Grade Music, Band, Orchestra, Digital Music.

• Chaperones may start the volunteering process (see above application).
