A Message from the RooFriends Parking Committee: “This Saturday’s parking fundraiser may be the last of Summer 2022. Despite our assumptions (based on pre-Covid data of San Diego Zoo admission levels, Balboa Park events, etc) that the Zoo and Balboa Park would be very busy this summer and we would profit from parking hundreds of overflow cars, that has not been the case. We still hope to cover the NEW annual cost of SDUSD’s “facilities rental fee” so that we can schedule parking fundraisers for the 2022-2023 school year.
WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS, WE WILL HAVE TO CANCEL THIS FUNDRAISER.
THANK YOU to all the Volunteers who already contributed their time and can-do spirit this Spring and Summer. We hope MORE of the RMS Community will join the effort to raise funds for RMS Students’ enrichment education programs.”
If you are unavailable to volunteer, please consider a DONATION.
