Roosevelt PRIDE: Personal Responsibility in Daily Excellence.

Dear Roosevelt Families,

I am happy to let you know that I am feeling much better.  As difficult as it was to miss Promotion and the end of the year with our wonderful students and staff, seeing the photos and hearing the beautiful speeches lifted my spirits. 

I am so proud of all of our students this week.  Our children have shown resilience and demonstrated so many of the important IB Learner Profile Traits.  I hope they will continue to embrace being risk-takers as they move forward in their educational journey.  Spending time with our children gives me hope for our future.  They will become the leaders in our community that will enact change.  Thank you for playing the incredibly important role as parents and guardians. 

I am also honored to be part of such a caring, dedicated staff that has pushed forward at every step of the way over the past few years, which have been the most challenging time in education.

• We need your help at the RooFriends Independence Weekend Parking Fundraiser (July 2, Saturday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Volunteers are a major factor in the success of running the day-of operations of the Parking Fundraiser as cashiers, greeters, traffic directors and runners. With your help, RooFriends can continue to fund AfterSchool Enrichment (ASE), Library Services, Teachers’ Classroom Grants … and more RMS Student programs!!
