RMS Music Notes: Classics 4 Kids “Journey into Jazz” Concert Field Trip.

THANKS to RMS Music Families and the RMS Community, our “Give the Gift of RMS Music 2022” online fundraiser raised $6280.60 for Music Education at Roosevelt IB MS!!

Your generous donations are funding the upcoming RMS Music Field Trip to the Classics 4 Kids Philharmonic Orchestra & Young Lions Jazz Conservatory “Journey Into Jazz” In-Person Concert at the Balboa Theatre in Downtown San Diego. This concert is the first RMS Music field trip since 2019. Thank You, RMS Community!!

Field Trip Expenses Include: Music Students and Volunteer Chaperones Concert Tickets, SDUSD Bus Transportation and SDUSD Substitute Teacher.

Classics 4 Kids Jazz Concert, Balboa Theatre, Downtown San Diego: May 25, 9:30-10:30 AM. 

• “San Diego’s Classics 4 Kids is back with live performances.” SDUT May 14, 2022.

• Classics 4 Kids “Journey into Jazz” Program and Educational Packet.   

RMS Music Students: Turn-in your parent/guardian signed field trip permission forms to Mr. E.K. by THIS Friday, May 20.

Chaperones, please submit all of the below-listed documents to the RMS Office by this Friday, May 20. Thanks for volunteering!!

Chaperones will ride the bus to/from the concert venue.

• Boarding at/ departing from RMS: 08:30 – 8:45 AM.

• Concert: 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Estimated return to RMS: 11:00 AM.

• TB Questionnaire: TB Test not required. 
  • Fill out the TB survey; RMS School Nurse will review and sign.

  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination.
