RMS Music Notes: Spring Concert 2022 & Music Open House at RMS IB Fest Student Showcase.

Congratulations to RMS Music on Their First Concert Since 2019!!

Roosevelt IB MS hosts a vibrant Music Program for RMS Band, Orchestra, Digital Music, Jazz Band Musicians and 6th Graders. Following the IB Music model, RMS Music offers students opportunities to explore and enjoy the diversity of music throughout the world and encourages them to develop their creativity through musical performance art. 

RMS Music at RMS IB Fest Student Showcase: Tuesday, May 10, 5-7 PM

The RMS Band and Orchestra will perform on the outdoor Kick Stage at RMS IB Fest Student Showcase 2022. After the performance, RMS Music Director Nathan Elias Kocivar, our Strings Music Coach Bill Fish and the music students will host RMS Music Open House. RMS Students and incoming/prospective students are welcome to take a close-up, hands-on look at brass, woodwind, percussion and string instruments. Come learn about the Roosevelt MS Instrumental Music Summer Camp (VAPA Department SDUSD) & plans for the music program in 2022-2023, and meet the RMS Music Boosters!!

RMS Feeder Schools are WELCOME: Alice Birney IB World School, Florence Elementary, Garfield Elementary, Jefferson IB STEAM Magnet, McKinley IB World School, Sherman Academy, Washington STEAM Magnet, San Diego High School.
