The topic is timely, as we are going to discuss standards based grading and how we approach grades within our IB Program at Roosevelt MS.

Other Reminders
Federal Survey Cards: Please check backpacks for the Federal Survey Cards. Please fill out the federal survey card and have your child turn them in to the front office. Roosevelt earns a significant amount of income for instructional materials, support staff, transportation, technology and more. Your responses are critical for our school funding!
RMS Campus Tours: If you know anyone interested in attending our school, please send them our way! Starting October 14, weekly tours will be Thursdays, 9:30 AM. Please contact our IB Coordinator Deb Christensen (dchristensen2@sandi.net) for more information.
Cell Phone Usage: Cell phone usage on campus has increased. According to our cell phone policy, we will confiscate student phones when they are used inappropriately. Cell phones should not be used during school hours. Cell phones may be used to coordinate with parents after school. Additionally, cell phones should be left with teachers when students leave the classroom for the restroom or the office. They should not be used at lunchtime. This vvwill help deter the social media issues that could pop-up during the school day. Please discuss this policy with your child(ren). Thank You!!
