Hello, RMS Families! Please consider the safety of ALL Students and each other as you navigate the school neighborhood during morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups. Keep the following traffic safety tips in mind:
- Students must only cross streets at crosswalks.
- DO NOT U-TURN on Upas Street or Zoo Drive.
- DO NOT park in or block the School Bus Zone on Upas Street.
- DO NOT DOUBLE PARK / stall next to cars on the curb as you drop-off and pick-up; continue to an open spot.
- Please be courteous of our neighbors in the Upas Street neighborhood; do not park in or block residential driveways.
- Drop-off and pick-up on the campus side of each street.
- Consider setting up designated drop-off / pick-up areas away from the main hubs.
- Please respect RMS Staff and/or SDPD who monitor the school’s drop-off and pick-up zones.
- First Period begins at 8:30 AM. Students may be dropped off as early as 8:00 AM during the first week, August 30 – September 3, 2021 .
- Starting September 7, the school gates will be open at 8:15 AM.
