Roosevelt IB MS Music invites the RMS Community to “Travel the World Through Music!” RMS Music encourages ALL RMS Families, especially our Band, Orchestra and all 6th Grade Music Students (Quarters 1-4), to enjoy San Diego’s Center for World Music FREE online concert:
“Iranian Classical Music in a Historical and Contemporary Context featuring Kourosh Taghavi.”
This “Virtual Encounter” leads up to the celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year (March 21).
This concert will feature music played on the Setar, the traditional instrument for performing Persian classical music.
