This week, Roosevelt International Middle School is celebrating Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign to educate youth and promote safe, healthy, drug-free schools and communities.  This year, The Red Ribbon Campaign’s national theme is “Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.”   We encourage all Roosevelt Students and Staff to wear RED on Wednesday, November 4 to show our personal commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. Students will also be talking about healthy, drug-abuse prevention during their Advisory period.  We invite Roosevelt Families to participate by talking to your child this week about prescription drugs, narcotics, drug abuse and the effects that drugs have on the brain and the rest of the body.

This online parent guide may help in bringing up the conversation with your children:

Thank you for your support at home. Together, we can have a huge impact!
