21 Meals Per Week for Each Child
SDUSD Food & Nutrition Services reminds all Families that nutritious meals are available at NO COST for ALL CHILDREN 18 years and younger at 81 school locations throughout SDUSD, Monday through Friday 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. For details and to find your nearest location, please visit www.sandiegounified.org and click Meal Pick-Up Locations.
Roosevelt IB Middle School is a Meal Pick-Up Location. Visit our RMS Cafeteria Staff at school, curbside on Zoo Drive; see attached Campus Map. The following Roosevelt IB MS Feeder Elementary Schools are also Meal Pick-Up Locations: Birney, Garfield, Golden Hill, McKinley, Sherman and Washington.
Meals now include a breakfast, lunch and evening meal for each day of the week for a total of 21 meals in a week for each child:
• Three meals per child on Mondays.
• Four meals per child on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Five meals per child on Thursdays and Fridays.
• Additional fresh produce and grocery items are available on a rotating basis at select sites.
Children do not need to be present to receive meals, but a photo of each child should be shown if they are not present at meal pick-up.
