Dear families and music lovers,
Thank you to so many of you for your contributions. The Musical Tree Fundraiser was a big success. Your generous donations added up to $3,455!! With the $1,000 matching donation from the Harris Family, RMS Families raised $4,455! This will help our students get the music supplies they need, and help fund their future field trips and activities that we have throughout the year.

Thank you to our teachers, staff and families for making music education a priority at Roosevelt. It has been exciting to see our music program expand this year to six music classes for students of all levels. Seventh and eighth graders are taking band or orchestra in small, seminar-style classes where they receive more instruction and rehearsal time than ever before. Sixth graders have had the opportunity to take beginning band and beginning strings this year thanks to the Friends of Roosevelt Foundation’s After School Enrichment program.
