Roosevelt needs your help parking cars to support your school!
December Nights in Balboa Park brings in hundreds of thousands of people – and those people need places to park!
This December 6th and 7th will be RooFriends’ BIGGEST PARKING FUNDRAISER of the year, raising over $20,000 in 2 days. With the help of teachers, parents and students, we will park over 1,000 cars for a donation of $20 each – and have fun doing it!
If you have a vested interest in the Music Boosters program, ASB, or providing 6th Grade Camp scholarships, etc., your volunteer hours can actually earmark money for one of these organizations — $25 for each hour shift. Each organization can earn up to $1,500 for their own programs! The funds will be tracked and managed by the RooFriends Foundation.
How does it work?
1. Sign up to select a volunteer slot (or slots)
2. Indicate that you are a student or family member in that field
3. In the field that says “Direct my earnings to:” type in the group you’re affiliated with: 6th Grade Camp, Music Boosters, ASB, 8th Grade Promotion, etc.
