Dear Roosevelt Middle School Stakeholders:

Thank you for attending the first and second Design Task Force workshops for Roosevelt Middle School’s Whole Site Modernization.

The San Diego Unified School District would like to invite you to our third Design Task Force meeting. You will join the architect and other key stakeholders to discuss the general design of the school, as well as how the proposed site improvements can best serve the students and the community for years to come.

Please join us for the third Design Task Force meeting:

            When:       Thursday, September 26, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

            Where:      Roosevelt Middle School Library

3366 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92103

The Whole Site Modernization will repair and revitalize Roosevelt Middle School facilities. This may include building systems repair and replacement; improvements to support learning and instruction; health, safety and security; accessibility and code compliance; and energy efficiency and sustainability. A detailed scope of work will be developed using input from the school community and facilities condition assessments.

These capital improvements are funded by the district’s Propositions S, Z and Measure YY, approved by voters in 2008, 2012 and 2018, respectively.

Involving parents, neighbors, community members, students and school staff is key to the success of facilities modernization and student achievement at San Diego Unified School District. We look forward to your participation.
