After-School Enrichment (ASE) programs begin Monday, Sept. 25th for those registered in the program. Rosters were posted at school on Sept. 21st on the ASE bulletin board (next to the student store). Email confirmations have also been sent out to the parents with each student’s final schedule. If you have any questions about your student’s final schedule, please email the After-School Programs Coordinator.
- YMCA’s PrimeTime provides overall administrative coordination and campus safety/supervision for the after-school programs. ASE participants are not necessarily required to participate other PrimeTime activities, but all ASE students must complete PrimeTime application process.
- There are two steps to the PrimeTime application process. You must have completed the PrimeTime Application (online) AND the PrimeTime Student Participation Form. Participation Forms can be turned into Room 702 or scanned/emailed to email@example.com. Please contact Mykel Dedmon with any questions: 619-385-0798. If you don’t have these completed by Oct 4th, your student will be dropped from ASE.
- To ensure student and campus safety, all ASE students must follow Check-In/Check-Out Procedures each day they participate in an ASE program. Please review these with your student before Monday.
- Students are expected to commit to regular attendance and to follow school and YMCA PrimeTime rules for student conduct. Students who do not attend regularly or who drop out of a program without a valid excuse will not be allowed to re-enroll in additional programs. Students not in the extended PrimeTime program must promptly leave campus at the conclusion of their ASE program.
We understand some of these procedures might differ from previous years, however, they are necessary to ensure the safety of our students and compliance to SDUSD rules for after school programming. Additionally, if these procedures aren’t followed consistently, it could lead to loss of funding for this program in the future.
